Check out our newest launched brand and website:
for Vanderhoof Christian Fellowship!
Welcoming. Caring. Encouraging.
These are three of the ways that the staff at Vanderhoof Christian Fellowship told us they wanted their church community to be perceived through their new branding and website.
Vanderhoof Christian Fellowship approached us saying their old website was out of date and losing features fast as the Internet continues to progress. They were looking for someone to work on building them not only a new website, but logo they could use to represent themselves with on their digital and print items.
We had a long consultation with them, talking about what their goals and objectives were for their project, as well as their timeline and how their previous website functioned. After chatting, we submitted a proposal for the church to review and they chose the services they most needed to fit their current needs.
The project began with setting out the inspiration and direction for the logo design, from which all other designs would be based off of. After presenting various options, the VCF staff and church settled on this one:
With a light-hearted, whimsical feel, this design shows growth firmly planted in the Word of God. Using a Bible as the earth, and a healthy, growing sprout using the “V” shape, this design is a simple way to show how your community prioritizes a Biblical Foundation.
After approval of the design, we went on to develop the rest of the brand, leaving the church with everything they need to represent their organization well across all platforms.
After collecting the text and image content needed for the site, we began applying it to their website so they could see it all come together. This is always the fun part, to watch the site come to life!
VCF also chose to include photography in their package, to help to really turn their site from any old website, to one truly reflecting their community.
We helped VCF troubleshoot a few of their different needs.
They were looking for an events page on their website, and we built in a calendar that can not only host all of their events dates and times, but can summarize them based on different categories (ie: Youth, Ladies’, etc).
We also built in a sermon audio archive, where their audio files can be hosted and downloaded by anyone on the web.
It’s so fun talking with our clients during their training and handoff and hearing their relief as they realize how easy it is to use their new website!
Vanderhoof Christian Fellowship has really taken their site on as their own, with an exceptional job of using the site to it’s full capacity. Did we mention they are managing all these different pages and features themselves? I wish I had Stanley Creative Company Gold Stars to hand out to them Website Management Excellence.
